Major Changes in IBPS PO/MT-III Exams: New Exam Pattern, Number of Questions to be asked, New Eligibility Criteria, No Descriptive Paper, Time Deduction, online Exam etc.
New Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
IBPS has Changed the Exam Pattern from this time. We are Describing the new pattern for IBPS PO CWE Exams. Till the last year(IBPS PO-2), each section contain equal weightage of the exam (50 marks each in - Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English, General Awareness and Computer Awareness). But from this year (2013) the weightage of English, General Intelligence & Computer section has been decreased. The new marking Scheme and exam pattern is as follows:
- Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks (maximum)
- English Language - 40 marks (maximum)
- General Intelligence/Reasoning - 50 marks(maximum)
- General Awareness - 40 marks (Maximum)
- Computer Awareness - 20 marks (Maximum)
Total Number of Question with each section marks is Now specified as below:
- Quantitative Aptitude - 50 (question) x 1(marks each) = 50 marks
- English Language - 40 (question) x 1 (marks each) = 40 marks
- General Intelligence/Reasoning - 50 (question) x 1(marks each) = 50 marks
- General Awareness - 40 (question) x 1 (marks each) = 40 marks
- Computer Awareness - 20 (question) x 1 (marks each) = 20 marks
Exam Time Decreased now:
No Descriptive Paper from IPS PO-III exam :
From this year there will be no descriptive paper for IBPS PO Exam. Till the last year (2012), IBPS CWE used to consist of a descriptive paper of 1 hr duration.
Now Online Mode of Exam will be held, Offline pattern eliminated :
No need of Certification in Computer :
- No Computer Literacy is required to apply the IBPS PO Exam-III.
